Posted in Announcement by agilecommunity on March 28, 2009

Norman Sasono is one profound MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in Indonesia. Right now he works at Microsoft as Developer Advisor in Developer and Platform Group Microsoft Indonesia. He wrote something encouraging about this community in his blog. Please check out his blog http://geeks.netindonesia.net/blogs/norman/archive/2009/03/27/kick-butt-developer-community-inside-mitrais.aspx. We hope this  can be motivation and energy for MACO to continue what we’ve done all this time and making this comunnity better and bigger. MACO believes that sharing knowledge is a power. Through MACO there will be no boundary across experiences, streams, projects or positions. Finally we’d like to thanks to Pak Norman Sasono for his recognition. We hope MACO can inspire other software engineers at Indonesia to start their community.

MACO End of Year 2008 Summit, 18 December 2008

Posted in Announcement by agilecommunity on December 18, 2008

Yes we have conducted summit for this end of year. We were discussing on what next plans and strategies especially for 2009. Previously Tommy has distributed questionnaire to all MACOers.
Based on this result we discussed some issues, critiques and suggestions. We finally came up with the strategic decision for this community’s next step.

We’d like to thank to all MACO’ers for their sincerity answering the questionnaire. It is very nice for spending your precious time for reading, answering and returning back to us. Your critiques, suggestions, and assesment are what define MACO for the next year.

Year 2009 will be a bright and shinning year for our community. There are some good changes, plans and surprise! Yes it is a surprise! As the snippet there will be surprise in the beginning of this year. We are hoping that this can be motivation to our community for moving forward especially with Mitrais.

MACO is Getting Bigger

Posted in Announcement by agilecommunity on December 1, 2008

Yes that’s true after evaluating attendance lists. Our meeting rooms hardly could accommodate any longer. We currently has at least 20 attendances per presentation. Is it good news? Yes off course!!! We didn’t suspect to have this big member in just three months!!!. We are expecting this number is growing since there is English (ELTP) class in the same time. Some of SEs are absorbed by this mandatory class.

We keep evaluating the progress that the community has made. The remarkable progress becomes our energy to develop better community. Eventually this will lead to the question on what next future plans and strategies for this community. Since this community was founded with no predefined structural organization or committee this will require full participations and inputs from its member. We hope that MACOers can contribute and share his idea for this community development. We’d like to hear it from you!!!!
